3rd Generation Machinist - Lifetime Farmer - Operator - Welder - Fabricator - Mechanic
UMX has given me the ability to live my passion! My grandfather started his company in 1966, where he still works today. As far back as I can remember, I've been in and around machine shops, so it was a natural fit for me to get my degree in machining. After college, I worked at my family's machine shop for 12 years, always knowing I wanted something of my own. I owe him for my strong work ethic and not being afraid to jump in with both feet to get the job done! I'm a well-versed person that's not afraid to try anything, and I love the challenge of figuring something out that others couldn't.
In my free time, I help run my family farm, where we run about 200 acres of cropland and have a small herd of beef cows. On the farm, there are older pieces of equipment that are always in need of repairs, and many of those you can't buy parts for anymore, so making new parts is something I enjoy doing. In addition, I also enjoy tractor pulling, mud trucks, and building cars. Anything with a motor is right up my alley. Another hobby is cooking maple syrup in the spring! I made my own evaporator to cook maple syrup in the woods on my family land.
In 2015 I met the love of my life, got married in 2018, and we now have two beautiful little girls. Growing up in a very busy family showed me how important family is, and I am looking forward to instilling a strong work ethic and perseverance into my girls. If they have that in mind, there's nothing that they can't do!
Welder - Fabricator - Machinist - Operator - Mechanic
I'm 24 years old and a welder from Columbia Falls, Montana, but I now live in Menomonie, Wisconsin, with my wife, Chanelle. I got into welding and wrenching at a young age because that's what my father did for a living. I always wanted to be a mechanical engineer until I graduated and didn't have the money for that kind of schooling, so I put myself through 2 years of welding school and haven't looked back since!
United Metal Worx has given me the ability to take my welding talents and provide quality services. In my free time away from the shop, I enjoy all aspects of elk and duck hunting and love to spend time outdoors with my wife.
Machinist - Welder - Fabricator - Mechanic
My first childhood memories are working with my dad in the garage and using my hands from day one! My passion has frequently been interacting with raw materials to make a part for an assembly.
In my free time, my favorite activity is to pull an 8000-pound open diesel 4WD truck around the western Wisconsin area. My truck is a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 with a Cummins engine. I enjoy riding a snowmobile in the winter with my wife and good friends.
On New Year's Eve in 2014, I was fortunate enough to meet my wife. We married in October 2016 and now have one daughter, born in August 2018. My wife shares my passions for family, pulling, and snowmobiling.
